Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences while caring for store pets. This entry-level role supports sales operations store maintenance and pet safety in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through in-person phone register and online interactions
- Care for birds reptiles fish small animals: feed water clean habitats give vet-directed meds
- Stock merchandise face products maintain cleanliness execute pricing promotions
- Sell products services live pets promote adoption events Treats enrollment
- Ensure safety for associates pets customers; handle sick pets transport to vet
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. Bring strong communication flexibility under pressure and physical stamina (lift 50lbs+ climb stoop). Love for pets a plus. Work evenings weekends holidays in moderate-noise pet-heavy setting.
