Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and seamless checkouts.
- Provide hands-on care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), and administer vet-directed medications.
- Execute merchandising tasks like stocking, facing products, price changes, and sales floor recovery.
- Recommend products, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Maintain safety standards, respond to pet health issues, and support all store areas including services.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required – just a love for pets! We seek strong communicators who thrive in fast-paced settings, handle pressure calmly, and meet physical demands: lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking extensively, climbing ladders, and working with animals in moderate-noise, pet-hair-filled environments.
