Role Overview

As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Brentwood, Tennessee, you'll engage pet parents and care for store pets, ensuring positive experiences while maintaining cleanliness and safety. This entry-level role offers flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, ideal for animal lovers seeking impactful retail work.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
• Provide hands-on care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and habitats including feeding, cleaning, and vet-directed medications.
• Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote merchandise, services, events like adoptions.
• Maintain store safety and cleanliness; respond to sick/injured pets by transporting to vet as needed.
• Support all store areas, follow policies, and contribute to a welcoming environment.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required, but pet enthusiasts thrive. Must have strong communication, flexibility for variable shifts, composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and handle live animals in a dynamic environment with moderate noise and pet hair.
