Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Broomall PA you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences while caring for store pets and maintaining a pristine welcoming store. This entry-level role offers flexibility perfect for animal lovers eager to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction via in-person phone register and online interactions including order prep.
- Provide hands-on care for birds reptiles small animals fish and habitats: feed water clean and medicate as vet-directed.
- Execute merchandising: face fill recover products price changes and sales floor plans.
- Recommend sell merchandise services live pets and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Uphold safety cleanliness and take action on sick/injured pets transporting to vet if needed.
Physical Demands
Stand walk lift 50lbs+ (team lift 100lbs+) climb kneel in moderate-noise pet-hair-filled environments with live animals.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required but pet passion helps. Need strong communication composure under pressure and schedule flexibility (evenings weekends holidays). Thrive in dynamic fast-paced settings with physical demands.
