Role Overview

As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) at our Burlington store, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, deliver exceptional service, and maintain store standards. Share responsibility for pet care, cleanliness, and safety while supporting sales across in-store, phone, online pickup, and services. Ideal for animal lovers seeking rewarding retail work.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding pet parent experiences at registers, throughout the store, and for online orders.
• Care for store-owned pets: feed, water, clean habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), and administer vet-directed medications.
• Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and maintain sales floor standards.
• Recommend products, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond to sick/injured pets immediately.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! You need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and handle animals in a lively environment with moderate noise and pet hair.
