Role Overview

As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Burlington, Ontario, you'll engage pet parents and pets, uphold company values, maintain store standards, and provide direct pet care. This entry-level role offers flexibility, development, and the joy of working with animals in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online; greet customers and prepare pick-up orders.
• Provide pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish; administer vet-directed medications.
• Maintain cleanliness, face/fill products, stage merchandise, support price changes and promotions.
• Recommend/sell merchandise, services, live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Ensure safety for associates, pets, parents; handle sick/injured pets and assist across store areas.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—passion for pets is key! Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure. Physical demands: stand/walk/lift 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments with pet hair.
