Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Burnsville, MN, you'll engage pet parents and care for store pets, ensuring positive experiences while maintaining store standards. This entry-level role offers flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities to advance in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Provide direct care for store pets: feeding, cleaning habitats, medicating as directed.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events/adoptions.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and respond to sick/injured pets immediately.
- Recommend products, services, and live pets to drive sales.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Must have strong communication, flexibility for variable shifts, composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and handle animals in a dynamic environment with moderate noise and pet hair.
