Role Overview
Our Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Caguas PR engages pet parents provides top-tier pet care and maintains a clean inviting store. This entry-level role offers flexibility perfect for animal lovers ready to make an impact through customer service sales and hands-on pet responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive positive pet parent experiences via in-person phone register and online order fulfillment
- Care for store-owned pets: feed water clean habitats (birds reptiles fish small animals) and administer vet-directed meds
- Stock shelves face products execute price changes and recover sales floor to standards
- Sell merchandise services live pets and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment
- Maintain safety cleanliness and respond immediately to sick/injured pets transporting to vet as needed
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required but pet passion is a plus. We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings weekends holidays) composure under pressure and physical stamina to lift 50lbs+ climb ladders and work in pet-filled environments. Vision for depth perception and tolerance for moderate noise pet hair essential.
