Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through in-person, phone, register, and online interactions.
- Manage pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and crickets.
- Execute merchandising tasks like stocking, facing products, price changes, and sales floor recovery.
- Recommend products, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Uphold safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond to pet health issues and transport to vet if needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet lovers welcome! Must have strong communication, flexibility for variable shifts, composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in pet-filled environments with moderate noise and occasional wet conditions.
