Role Overview

As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in our Calgary, Alberta store, you'll engage pet parents, care for live animals, and maintain a welcoming environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet interaction, customer service, and retail operations in a fun, pet-loving atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
• Provide direct care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and administer vet-directed meds.
• Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote merchandise, services, events like adoptions.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety for associates, pets, and customers; handle sick pets promptly.
• Support all store areas including services as needed.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Must have strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50lbs+, climb ladders, and work in pet-filled environments. Love animals? You'll thrive here.
