Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate), you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays while making a real impact daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Care for store-owned pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and administer vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and prepare online orders.
- Promote events like adoption weekends and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and immediate action for sick/injured pets.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. We seek enthusiastic individuals with strong communication, flexibility, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working around pets and moderate noise.
