Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences while caring for store pets upholding cleanliness and driving sales. This entry-level role offers flexibility perfect for animal lovers in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service in-person online phone and at register greeting customers and fulfilling orders.
- Handle pet healthcare feeding cleaning habitats for fish birds reptiles small animals and administering vet-directed meds.
- Maintain store standards through merchandising recovery pricing updates and cleanliness.
- Sell products services live pets and promote events like adoption weekends.
- Ensure safety transporting sick pets to vets as needed and assist across store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required but pet passion helps. Need strong communication flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays composure under pressure and physical stamina (lift 50lbs+ climb stoop handle animals in noisy/wet conditions). Depth perception essential.
