Role Overview
Our Part-Time Retail Sales Associates in City of Industry, CA, deliver exceptional pet parent experiences, care for live pets, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with hands-on pet care and sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and sales recommendations.
- Provide direct care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), administer vet-directed meds, and handle sick/injured pets.
- Execute merchandising: face/fill products, stage new items, support price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and assist across store areas including services.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required – just a pet-loving attitude! Must have strong communication, flexibility, composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lift 50lbs, climb ladders, handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments). Depth perception and team-lifting for heavier items needed.
