Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Corona, CA, you'll engage pet parents and care for store pets, ensuring positive experiences while maintaining store standards. This entry-level role offers flexibility and impact in a fun, pet-filled environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent service in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide direct care for birds, reptiles, fish, and small animals including feeding, cleaning, and vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and respond to pet health issues promptly.
- Support all store areas including services as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Must have strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50lbs+, climb ladders, and work in pet-heavy environments. Vision for depth perception needed.
