Role Overview

As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Cranberry Township, PA, you'll engage pet parents, care for live animals, and maintain a welcoming store. This entry-level role offers flexibility, hands-on pet interaction, and pathways to advancement in pet retail.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
• Provide direct care for store pets: feeding, watering, cleaning habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), and administering vet-directed medications.
• Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote merchandise, services, events, and adoptions.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and respond to pet health emergencies by transporting to vets as needed.
• Support various store areas including services, while following all policies.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Must have strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and handle animals in a moderate-noise, pet-hair-filled environment. Depth perception and team-lifting for heavier items required.
