Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Decatur, Alabama, you'll deliver exceptional pet parent experiences while caring for store pets and maintaining a clean, safe environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, perfect for animal enthusiasts eager to grow in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through in-person, phone, register, and online interactions.
- Provide hands-on care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and habitats—including feeding, cleaning, and vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and immediate response to sick/injured pets.
- Recommend products, services, and live pets to boost sales and loyalty.
Experience & Skills
