Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate), you'll engage pet parents, care for live animals, and maintain a welcoming store. This entry-level role offers flexibility and impact in a fun, pet-loving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Provide direct care for store pets: feeding, cleaning habitats, medicating as directed.
- Execute merchandising, price changes, and store recovery to high standards.
- Promote events, recommend products/services, and ensure safety for pets, associates, and customers.
- Handle emergencies like sick pets and support all store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. Bring strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lifting 50lbs+, standing/walking). Love for pets is a must.
