Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Dover Delaware you'll engage pet parents and pets deliver exceptional service and maintain store operations. This entry-level role offers flexibility perfect for pet lovers seeking rewarding part-time work with growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through in-person phone register and online interactions including order pickups.
- Provide hands-on care for store pets: feed water clean habitats for birds reptiles fish small animals and administer vet-directed meds.
- Execute merchandising: face fill recover products handle price changes and match sales floor plans.
- Sell merchandise services live pets and promote events like adoptions Treats enrollment and charity drives.
- Maintain safety cleanliness and respond immediately to sick/injured pets transporting to vet as needed.
Experience & Skills
No experience required but pet passion is a plus. Need strong communication flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays composure under pressure and physical stamina to lift 50lbs+ climb ladders and work in pet-filled environments. Vision for depth perception and tolerance for noise pet hair required.
