Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Duluth, Minnesota, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver exceptional service, maintain store standards, and provide direct pet care. This entry-level role supports in-store, phone, online, and pickup experiences while upholding our vision for pet safety and satisfaction. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, and seamless online order pickups.
- Handle pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish; administer vet-directed meds.
- Execute merchandising: face/fill products, stage new items, manage price changes/promotions.
- Promote sales, services, events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Maintain cleanliness/safety; respond to sick pets and assist across store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience needed—pet passion is key! Required: strong communication, schedule flexibility, composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, ladder use, animal handling in moderate-noise, pet-hair environments. Reasonable accommodations available.
