Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Elizabethtown Kentucky you'll engage pet parents and their pets deliver exceptional service and uphold our vision for pet care. Share in store maintenance pet safety and direct animal care while building lasting customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through in-person phone register and online interactions including order pickups.
- Provide hands-on care for store pets: feed water clean habitats and administer vet-directed medications.
- Maintain pristine store standards: face fill recover products execute price changes and stage merchandise.
- Sell recommend merchandise services live pets and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates pets and customers responding swiftly to health issues with vet transport as needed.
Physical Demands
Stand walk lift up to 50 lbs team lift 100+ lbs climb ladders and handle animals in a dynamic environment with moderate noise pet hair and occasional wet conditions.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role welcoming pet enthusiasts. Must have strong communication flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays composure under pressure and physical stamina. PetSmart provides training for success.
