Role Overview

As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Eugene, Oregon, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, deliver exceptional service, maintain store standards, and provide direct pet care. This entry-level role offers flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays while making a daily impact on pets and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive pet parent satisfaction through in-person, phone, register, and online interactions, including online order pickups.
• Provide hands-on care for store pets: feeding, watering, cleaning habitats (birds, reptiles, small animals, fish), and administering vet-directed medications.
• Execute merchandising tasks: stock products, face shelves, recover sales floor, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Maintain cleanliness, ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers, and respond immediately to sick/injured pets, including vet transport.
• Recommend products, services, and live pets while supporting all store areas.

Experience & Skills
