Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Fairless Hills, PA, you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe store. This entry-level role offers flexible hours, evenings/weekends/holidays, and hands-on pet interaction while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Care for store-owned pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and administer vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and prepare online orders.
- Promote merchandise, services, live pets, and events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Maintain cleanliness/safety standards and respond to sick/injured pets.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. Ideal candidates have strong communication, flexibility for varied shifts, composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lift 50lbs, climb ladders, handle animals). Passion for pets is a must in our moderate-noise, pet-hair-filled environment.
