Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in our Fajardo, Puerto Rico store, you'll engage pet parents, care for live animals, and maintain an exceptional store environment. This entry-level role offers flexible hours and a chance to make a daily impact in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Provide direct care for store pets: feeding, watering, cleaning habitats, and vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and handle sick/injured pets promptly.
- Recommend products, services, and live pets to drive sales.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. We seek pet lovers with strong communication, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in pet-filled environments. Vision for depth perception and animal handling comfort essential.
