Role Overview

As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Flagstaff, Arizona, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, deliver exceptional experiences, and uphold our vision for pet care. Share in store maintenance, cleanliness, and direct pet care while promoting services and events. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is key in this dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
• Provide hands-on care for store pets: feeding, habitat cleaning, medications per vet direction.
• Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and maintain sales floor standards.
• Recommend products, services, live pets, and promote adoption events and Treats enrollment.
• Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond immediately to sick/injured pets.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is a plus! We seek strong communicators who thrive under pressure, handle physical demands (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, climbing), and embrace live animal exposure. Qualifications include schedule flexibility and composure in a fast-paced, pet-filled setting with moderate noise and occasional wet conditions.
