Role Overview

Our Part-Time Retail Sales Associates in Foley, Alabama, deliver outstanding pet parent experiences while maintaining store standards and providing direct pet care. This entry-level role offers flexibility, hands-on pet interaction, and a chance to make a daily impact in a fun, pet-filled retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order fulfillment, and seamless checkouts.
• Provide expert care for store-owned pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, small animals, fish), and administer vet-directed medications.
• Execute merchandising tasks: face/fill products, stage new inventory, support price changes, and maintain cleanliness/safety.
• Sell merchandise, services, and live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Respond swiftly to pet health issues, ensure safe environments, and assist across store areas including services.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Successful candidates have strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50lbs+, climb ladders, and handle live animals in a dynamic environment with moderate noise and pet hair.
