Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate), you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences, care for live animals, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to pet parents in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and administer vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and prepare online pickup orders.
- Promote merchandise, services, live pets, and events like adoptions.
- Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and immediate action for sick/injured pets.
Experience & Skills
No experience needed—pet passion required! Strong communication, composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lift 50lbs, climb ladders, handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments). Flexible availability essential.
