As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Fountain Valley, CA, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver exceptional service, maintain store standards, and care for live animals. Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide hands-on care for store pets: feeding, habitat cleaning, medication administration, and vet transport if needed.
- Execute merchandising: stock products, face shelves, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Uphold cleanliness, safety, and sales floor standards while recommending products and services.
- Collaborate across store areas, including services, following all policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lifting 50lbs+, standing, ladder use, animal exposure). Vision for depth perception essential; accommodations available.
