Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate), you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility and impact in a fun pet-loving atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Provide direct care for store pets: feeding, watering, cleaning habitats, and vet transport if needed.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and recommend merchandise/services.
- Promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment while ensuring safety standards.
- Assist across store areas, including services, and uphold company policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. We seek pet enthusiasts with strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and handle animals in a dynamic environment.
