Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Gainesville FL you'll engage pet parents provide exceptional service and care for store pets. Uphold our vision of pet safety cleanliness and positive experiences while supporting store operations in a dynamic retail environment with live animals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person online phone and at register
- Care for store pets including feeding cleaning habitats and vet-directed medications
- Maintain store cleanliness merchandise products and execute pricing promotions
- Promote events like adoptions Treats enrollment and charity drives
- Ensure safety for associates pets and customers responding to emergencies
Experience & Skills
No experience needed but pet lovers thrive. Required: strong communication flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays composure under pressure. Physical demands: lift 50lbs+ stand/walk extensively handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments. Depth perception and team lifting essential.
