Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Georgetown, Texas, you'll engage pet parents, care for live animals, and maintain a welcoming store environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility, weekly pay, and paths to advancement in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, small animals), and administer vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and prepare online pickups.
- Promote merchandise, services, live pets, and events like adoption weekends.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and respond to pet health issues.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required – pet passion is key! Need strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lift 50lbs, climb ladders, handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments). Depth perception and team lifting for heavier items.
