Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate), you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a welcoming store environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility and the chance to make a daily impact in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online pickups.
- Provide direct care for store-owned pets: feeding, watering, cleaning habitats, and administering vet-directed medications.
- Handle sick/injured pets, ensuring safety and transport to vet if needed.
- Maintain store cleanliness, stock shelves, face products, and support price changes/promotions.
- Recommend merchandise, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. We seek enthusiastic individuals with strong communication, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work around pets/noise.
