Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate), you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain an exceptional store environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays while making a daily impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats, administer meds, and respond to health issues.
- Merchandise products, handle price changes, process online pickups, and promote events.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sales floor standards; lift up to 50 lbs.
- Collaborate across store areas including services.
Essential Physical Demands
Stand, walk, climb, lift 50+ lbs; exposed to pets, noise, wet areas. Reasonable accommodations available.
Experience & Skills
No experience needed. Seek strong communication, composure under pressure, pet passion, and schedule flexibility. Physical stamina for active retail environment with live animals essential.
