Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Glendale, Arizona, you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe environment. This entry-level role offers flexible hours, evenings/weekends/holidays, and the chance to make a daily impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online pickups.
- Provide pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish.
- Merchandise products, execute price changes, face/fill/recover sales floor.
- Recommend/sell merchandise, services, live pets; promote events like adoptions.
- Ensure safety, handle sick pets, transport to vet; assist across store areas.
Experience & Skills
No experience needed. Must have strong communication, schedule flexibility, composure under pressure. Physical demands: lift 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), stand/walk, handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments. Depth perception required.
