Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through in-person, phone, register, and online interactions.
- Provide hands-on care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and habitats including feeding, cleaning, and vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and prepare online orders for seamless pickup.
- Promote merchandise, services, live pets, and events like adoption weekends and Treats enrollment.
- Maintain safety standards, respond to pet health issues, and assist across all store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Successful candidates have strong communication, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in pet-filled environments. Vision for depth perception and tolerance for moderate noise/animal exposure essential.
