Role Overview
Our part-time Pet Associates drive exceptional pet parent experiences in our Greenville, NC store. You'll engage customers, care for live pets, maintain a clean store, and support sales while upholding PetSmart's values of safety, belonging, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding service in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide daily care for store pets: feeding, cleaning habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), and vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and immediate response to sick/injured pets.
- Recommend products, services, and pets to boost sales and satisfaction.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required – pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50lbs+, climb ladders, and handle animals in a dynamic environment with moderate noise and pet hair.
