Role Overview
Our Part-Time Retail Sales Associates are the heart of the store, delivering exceptional pet parent experiences while caring for live animals and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Based in Grove City, Ohio, this entry-level role offers flexible hours perfect for pet lovers eager to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and seamless checkouts.
- Provide hands-on care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), and administer vet-directed meds.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Maintain cleanliness, ensure safety, and respond immediately to sick/injured pets, including vet transport.
- Support all store areas, recommend products/services, and follow company policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required – just a love for pets! We seek strong communicators who stay composed under pressure, lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work evenings/weekends/holidays. Exposure to animals, moderate noise, and wet environments is part of the fun. Reasonable accommodations available.
