Role Overview
As a Retail Sales Associate Part Time in Guaynabo Puerto Rico you'll engage pet parents provide outstanding service and care for live animals. This entry-level role supports store operations pet safety and sales while offering flexibility for evenings weekends and holidays. Uphold PetSmart's vision of exceptional pet experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings questions sales register and online order fulfillment.
- Manage pet healthcare: feed water clean habitats and administer vet-directed medications.
- Ensure store cleanliness merchandising price changes and safety protocols.
- Promote events like adoptions Treats enrollment and charity drives.
- Respond to pet emergencies transport to vet as needed and assist across store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required but pet passion helps. Must have strong communication flexibility under pressure and physical stamina (lift 50lbs+ climb stoop work in noisy pet-filled spaces). Specific vision for depth perception and team lifting over 100lbs.
