Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and seamless checkouts.
- Handle pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish; administer vet-directed meds.
- Ensure store excellence: clean, stock, face products, execute price changes, and recover sales floor.
- Sell merchandise, services, live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Prioritize safety: monitor pets, transport sick/injured to vet, maintain secure environment.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Must have strong communication, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, ladder use, animal handling in moderate-noise, pet-hair-filled settings. Reasonable accommodations available.
