Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Kentwood Michigan you'll engage pet parents and pets delivering positive experiences while upholding PetSmart's vision. Share store maintenance pet safety and direct pet care responsibilities in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction via in-person phone register and online order fulfillment
- Care for store pets: feed water clean habitats for birds reptiles fish small animals
- Maintain cleanliness stock products execute price changes and recover sales floor
- Sell merchandise services live pets and promote events like adoptions Treats charity
- Ensure safety: monitor pets administer meds transport sick pets and follow policies
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required but pet lovers thrive. Need strong communication flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays composure under pressure and physical stamina (lift 50lbs+ climb stoop handle animals in noisy/wet conditions). Depth perception essential.
