Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate), you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a clean, safe environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays while making a daily impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Provide direct care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, including feeding, cleaning, and vet transport.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Recommend merchandise, services, and live pets while ensuring safety standards.
- Maintain store cleanliness and assist across departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. We seek pet lovers with strong communication, flexibility, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and handling animals in a dynamic retail environment.
