Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Las Vegas, NV, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver positive experiences, and uphold our vision. Share store maintenance, pet safety, and direct pet care responsibilities while working flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Essential Physical Demands
Stand, walk, climb ladders, lift 50 lbs frequently (team lift 100+ lbs), handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments with pet hair. Depth perception required; accommodations available.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (birds, reptiles, fish, etc.), administer vet-directed meds.
- Maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, face products, handle price changes.
- Sell merchandise/services/live pets, promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety; transport sick pets to vet immediately.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role welcoming pet lovers. Need strong communication, schedule flexibility, composure under pressure. Pet care experience a plus; training provided.
