Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Lawton, Oklahoma, you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a welcoming store environment. This entry-level role offers flexible hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs and handling live animals in a dynamic pet retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online; greet customers and prepare pick-up orders.
- Provide direct pet care: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish; administer vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Recommend products, services, live pets; promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, customers; respond to sick/injured pets and support all store areas.
Experience & Skills
