Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and seamless checkouts.
- Maintain pet health by feeding, watering, cleaning habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), and administering vet-directed meds.
- Execute merchandising: face/fill products, stage new items, handle price changes, and recover sales floor.
- Sell merchandise, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond to sick/injured pets and maintain cleanliness.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! Successful candidates have strong communication, composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, climbing, animal exposure). Flexibility and a positive attitude align with our culture of belonging.
