Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, questions, online order prep, and sales.
- Provide hands-on care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, and habitats including feeding, cleaning, and vet-directed medications.
- Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond to sick pets immediately.
- Support all store areas, uphold cleanliness, and follow company policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required, but pet enthusiasm is a must. You'll need strong communication, composure under pressure, and physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in a pet-filled environment with moderate noise and occasional wet conditions.
