As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Liverpool, NY, you'll engage pet parents, care for store pets, and maintain a welcoming store. This entry-level role offers flexibility, weekly pay, and paths to advancement while doing what you love.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Provide pet healthcare: feed, water, clean habitats for birds, reptiles, fish, and small animals.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Recommend products, services, live pets; administer vet-directed medications.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety; respond to sick pets and assist across store areas.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required. Ideal candidates have strong communication, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, composure under pressure, and physical stamina (lift 50lbs, climb ladders, handle animals). Passion for pets is key.
