Role Overview
The Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) is the heart of our store, delivering outstanding pet parent experiences while caring for live pets and maintaining a clean, safe environment. This part-time position in Livonia, Michigan, requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with physical demands like lifting 50 lbs and handling animals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, questions, online order prep, and sales.
- Provide direct pet care: feed/water/clean habitats for birds, reptiles, fish, small animals; administer vet-directed meds; respond to sick pets.
- Execute merchandising: face/fill/recover products, price changes, new arrivals.
- Promote events like adoptions, Treats enrollment, and charity drives.
- Uphold safety, cleanliness, and company policies across all store areas.
Experience & Skills
