Role Overview
Our Part-Time Retail Sales Associates are the heart of the store, delivering outstanding pet parent experiences, maintaining pet safety standards, and supporting operations. This entry-level role offers flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities to advance in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and seamless checkouts.
- Provide direct care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), and administer vet-directed meds.
- Execute merchandising tasks: stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Maintain cleanliness, ensure safety, and respond to pet health issues by transporting to vets as needed.
- Collaborate across departments, recommend products/services, and uphold company policies.
Experience & Skills
