As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Los Angeles, CA, you'll engage pet parents, care for live pets, and maintain a welcoming store. This entry-level role offers flexibility, weekly pay, and paths to advancement while doing what you love.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional pet parent experiences in-person, phone, register, and online.
- Care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), administer meds.
- Stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and prepare online pickups.
- Promote services, events, adoptions, and Treats membership.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety; respond to sick pets and support all store areas.

- Strong communication skills.
- Flexible availability: evenings, weekends, holidays.
- Composure under pressure.
Physical Demands
Stand/walk extensively, lift 50 lbs (team lift 100+ lbs), climb ladders, handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments. Depth perception required; accommodations available.
