Role Overview

As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Louisville, Kentucky, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, deliver exceptional experiences, and uphold our vision of pet safety and store excellence. Share in maintaining cleanliness, pet care, and sales while working flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Physical Demands

Stand, walk, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs (team lift 100+ lbs), handle animals in a dynamic environment with moderate noise and pet hair exposure. Reasonable accommodations available.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
• Provide direct care for store pets: feed, clean habitats, administer vet-directed meds, and respond to illnesses.
• Stock shelves, face products, execute price changes, and maintain sales floor standards.
• Sell merchandise, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
• Ensure safe environment for associates, pets, and customers; assist across store areas as needed.
