Role Overview
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Michigan City Indiana you'll engage pet parents and pets delivering positive experiences while upholding our vision mission values and strategy. Share responsibility for store cleanliness pet safety and direct pet care in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction in-person phone register and online order fulfillment
- Provide hands-on care for store pets feeding watering cleaning habitats and vet-directed medications
- Maintain merchandising standards through stocking facing recovery and promotional updates
- Sell merchandise services live pets and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment
- Ensure safety for associates pets and customers responding swiftly to health issues
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required but pet enthusiasts thrive here. Bring strong communication flexibility for evenings weekends holidays and composure under pressure. Physically handle standing lifting 50lbs+ climbing and animal exposure in moderate-to-noisy wet environments with pet hair.
